ROMPOS 2012 for road vignettes

Our sales application, ROMPOS 2012, now includes an integrated module for selling road vignettes in any fuel station or shop. The vignette module had been available since vignettes were introduced, in the version of ROMPOS used in the MOL stations in Romania; it has now been developed for the whole range of sales applications offered by Master Computers. With this module you can sell the full range of vignettes and bridge tolls available in Romania.

How it works

Vignettes can be bought up to 30 days before the start of their validity, and are paid for in advance.
Validity periods are: one day, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 12 months. For cars and for goods vehicles with a maximum authorised mass of 3.5 tonnes or less, the shortest period available is 7 days.
Validity starts at 00:00 on the day requested by the user and expires at 23:59 on the last day of the period paid for. If validity starts on the current day, it runs from the moment the fee is paid until 23:59 on the last day of the period.
A 30-day vignette is valid from the marked day plus 29 consecutive days; a 90-day vignette from the marked day plus 89 consecutive days; a 12-month vignette from the marked day until the day before the anniversary.
The start date cannot be more than 30 days ahead, and it cannot be earlier than the current date. The calendar in the vignette form does not allow a date outside this range to be selected.
Bridge tolls can be bought at practically any time and are paid for in advance. When the toll form is opened, the default validity is one crossing of the Fetesti bridge. Any type of toll is valid for one year from the date of issue if the crossing does not take place.
