What portable cash registers are

Portable cash registers are compact, self-contained fiscal devices (battery powered), approved by ANAF and fitted with an electronic journal — and some models also include an integrated bank card payment terminal. They issue fiscal receipts anywhere, without depending on a computer or a permanent power socket.

They can be connected to management applications through a dedicated API.

Another important feature is the ability to install and run third-party applications on the Android operating system.
