PECOPOS 2000 - Petrol station management system
Master Computers is the leading Romanian company in the field of
management systems for petrol stations. Our future-oriented
product PECOPOS 2000 is installed in over 120 petrol stations.
PECOPOS 2000 is a complete, modular, scalable solution that meets all
the requirements of a modern petrol station. The system is available
for a all the proprietary interfaces, as well as the IFSF LON standard.

Back Office - GESTPECO 2000
application
Runs on a dedicated computer - defined as server - in petrol stations.
Performs:
- data exchange with the Point of Sale (POS) equipment and with the
Head Office system
- financial management at shift and working day level
- accounting management based on monthly logs
Financial administration is divided into:
- financial administration of petrol products
- financial administration of the convenience store
A specific document is issued for each operation performed into the
financial administration. The document is printed in 1, 2, 3 copies
(upon request) on a matrix printer (EPSON FX 880).
The application strictly controls time settings that define closing
hours for shift 1 and 2. These data are set up during the configuration
stage, and can be amended afterwards only by a person with access
rights and a valid password.
GESTPECO 2000 has separate price catalogues. All the catalogues are
produced by the head quarter and sent to each petrol station. Thus,
they can not be altered or modified by the staff in the stations.
The application controls strictly the time (day and hour) when prices
are changed for petrol, non-petrol products and goods in the store, and
generates a warning message to the shift manager regarding the "H" hour
.
High security of data:
each user has a unique identifier (ID) consisting of
username and password. At the beginning of each shift the staff must
input the personal ID: shift manager, chief cashier and each salesman
for its own POS.
in case of global financial administration of the
station: only one cashier is declared as authorised user.

Interface with the head office system
PECOPOS 2000 was designed according to the open system philosophy.
It can be easily interfaced with other systems or equipment.
PECOPOS 2000 can exchange data with a head office system in many ways:
ODBC drivers
Text files
Data from each petrol station can be transferred to the head office
system. The system administrator can configure the type of data to be
transferred, the time for transfer and the mode of transfer.
